At first, I was a little hesitant to start counselling and psychotherapy. I knew Ellie was qualified, however I was sceptical about whether this would work out. It took only one session to be convinced that this long journey of self-awareness I was about to embark on, would be the greatest gift I have ever received. Being in my mid-twenties, I was overworked, overstressed, and overwhelmed with negative emotions. I was going through a rough patch, but I didn’t seek help until I reached my breaking point. When I first started seeing Ellie, I was struggling to take control of my life. She helped me navigate through a very difficult personal problem of mine, which affected all areas of my life. Ellie’s calm demeanour relieved my anxiety and agitation, helping us build a relationship of great trust. I had been in therapy for about eight months before personal reasons forced me to stop with my previous therapist and reach out to Elli. I feel a deep sense of gratitude for this "angel" I happened to meet during a very difficult time in my life. Well... where do I even begin? Before our sessions, I felt quite lost! Now I have someone to guide me. I remember in those first sessions, before I started feeling better, I would show up on an empty stomach and grab McDonald's nearby for breakfast. I remember going to university looking pale, having not eaten, staring blankly into space. Generally, I was in my own world. I wasn’t eating, I wasn’t looking after myself, I wasn’t truly living. Through our sessions, that changed bit by bit; we started to rebuild and restructure "Dimitris" from scratch. These sessions helped me so much, even though therapy is still considered a taboo in our country. Without them, I would have been at the mercy of my circumstances instead of taking control of my life. Who would have imagined that Dimitris would end up passing his exams and eating proper meals on time? That he would find a girlfriend and be in a 5-month relationship. So many changes since I started coming to see you, especially since with my previous attempts, I didn’t see any change. Thank you so much for everything we’ve done and for all your help. I found Miss Noitsi online when I was in search for a therapist while visiting Glyfada for vacation. I was over whelmed and had a marital crises. I was in desperate need for support. She is a competent professional and a compassionate individual. She helped me a lot through very tough times. She made a big difference in my view on things. She helped me understand my self and everything around me by myself. With her support I have a clearer vision. I choose to continue therapy with her after I went back home through online sessions. I imagine I will continue to do so as she continues to provide unlimited support. She is very courteous. Very non-material. Very genuine person with high moral standards.
