At first, I was a little hesitant to start counselling and psychotherapy. I knew Ellie was qualified, however I was sceptical about whether this would work out. Being in my mid-twenties, I was overworked, overstressed, and overwhelmed with negative emotions. I was going through a rough patch, but I didn’t seek help until I reached my breaking point. I had been in therapy for about eight months before personal reasons forced me to stop with my previous therapist and reach out to Elli. Well... where do I even begin? Before our sessions, I felt quite lost! Now I have someone to guide me. I remember in those first sessions, before I started feeling better, I would show up on an empty stomach and grab McDonald's nearby for breakfast.
